Dr Winnie Bowman, well-known Cape Wine Master and international spirits judge, joined Christelle Reade-Jahn, Director of the South African Brandy Foundation to host a brandy pairing for 60 wine afficionados in Gansbaai. The evening took the form of a 4-course paired dinner.
Gannaput VSOP was matched with the dessert course of Coconut Pannacotta with caramelised pineapple and coconut shavings to showcase the coconut aromas in Gannaput that Dr Bowman had picked up. The response was extremely positive with many of the guests wanting to know where they could purchase the product.
